Though we’re active all week long, Sundays are the best days to connect with us for the first time. Join us every Sunday morning at 10:00 for worship, or on most Sunday evenings at 5:00 for small groups, classes, and dinner. Before you come, you might want to know a little more about what to expect. Click the tab above for details!

Sunday Youth Groups are held most Sundays at 5:00 p.m. Children, youth and adults meet in the Fellowship Hall for dinner, then head to their small groups. Childcare is available for our youngest children in the nursery. PYF (Primary Youth Fellowship for age 3 through 2nd grade) study a Bible lesson through story, games, and crafts. JYF and Chi Rho (Junior Youth Fellowship for grades 3-8) learn Bible stories, play games, and do service projects. CYF (Christian Youth Fellowship for grades 9-12) discuss hot topics, play games, and support one another.

Our main entrance is just off the parking lot, so you can’t get lost. Just inside the door, you can grab a nametag–if it’s your first time, look for a blank tag and make your own; next time, let us know and we’ll make one for you.

If you’re a few minutes early, help yourself to a cup of fair-trade coffee in the Gathering Space outside the sanctuary. (There’ll be more coffee, plus snacks, after worship.)

Kids are always welcome to stay in worship, but a greeter will be glad to show you to the nursery, where toddlers and infants are cared for by professional childcare providers. A pager system allows childcare workers to reach parents during the service if necessary.

There are worship activity bags available outside the sanctuary, with books and other quiet activities for children to use during the service. Children are invited to come to the front of the sanctuary for a special Children’s Moment, followed by Children’s Church, an age-appropriate worship and story time in our Children’s Chapel. Parents can pick up their kids in the Children’s Chapel after the service.

In the tradition of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), communion is celebrated every Sunday during our worship service. All are welcome to join in this feast that reminds us of the good news of God’s grace. We gather around this table to remember God’s abundant love for us made manifest through Jesus Christ. On the first Sunday of the month, the Lord’s Supper is celebrated by intinction. Worshippers are invited to come forward to receive a piece of bread and dip it in the cup to partake in the remembrance of Christ. On other Sundays, the Lord’s Supper is served to worshippers in the pews. Worshippers are invited to eat the bread and then hold the cup to be taken communally.

We receive an offering every week as well. We know that we have been richly blessed, and we give out of a sense of thanksgiving for God’s abundance. Gifts received are used to support the ministries of this congregation in our community and around the world.

After worship, stick around for coffee hour, and meet someone new or catch up with an old friend. It’s also a good chance to stop by our welcome desk and sign up to help with a service project or participate in an upcoming class. Our minister is available to chat during this time as well.

We are located at 1900 West Market St, Greensboro, NC 27403.
