Table Talk can happen wherever we gather! This week, we invite you to join us in supporting Greensboro Urban Ministry’s Feast of Caring. Note: we’re gathering at 5 p.m. for this event instead of our usual time. What is the Feast of Caring? Keep reading…
The week before many families will celebrate the feast of Thanksgiving, community members gather around a simple supper of soup and bread to remember those who are struggling in our community.
FCC participants–we can donate any amount for our soup and bread. But,
When you make a minimum $25 donation to Greensboro Urban Ministry, you help to provide food, shelter and rehousing assistance to men, women and families. Your donation allows you to choose to receive a pottery bowl, crafted by an N.C. potter, or five Honor Cards, created by N.C. artist Bill Mangum.
So, show up to the Feast of Caring…Table Talkers will try to save tables together.
What is Table Talk? FCC hosts this weekly gathering at a local restaurant or at someone’s home for casual, informal conversation. No commitment required for this group. Show up when you can; stay for 20 minutes or two hours! Eat dinner, have a drink, or just hang out.
