Shannon is the Director of Catawba College’s Youth Theology Institute, Discover, which seeks to engage youth around theological reflection and vocational discernment. Discover seeks to be a place where curiosity and questions are honored and where we can build community around conversation, worship, and recreation. This summer Catawba is offering two weeks for high school students (July 7-12 or 14-19) and one for middle school students (July 21-26) at Black Lake Retreat Center. There is a $25 registration fee but the cost of the program is covered by a grant from the Lilly Endowment. More information here.
