The world feels dark sometimes, but the gospel good news is this: The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness does not overcome it.
Join us this Advent season as we point to the light, and together, keep the darkness at bay.
December 3: First Sunday of Advent
We begin the season by lighting the first candle in the Advent wreath.
December 10: Second Sunday of Advent
The choir is preparing a number of special pieces to help us tell the story in song.
December 17: Third Sunday of Advent
A string quartet will join us for worship.
December 24: Fourth Sunday of Advent
On Christmas Eve morning, worship will include a festive Christmas pageant for kids and adults alike.
And don’t miss these special opportunities to worship together:
December 3, 7:00 p.m.
Hanging of the Greens—we recognize the symbols that help us prepare for the coming of the Christ Child.
December 21, 7:00 p.m.
The Longest Night—for those of us for whom Christmas is not always a joyful time, this quiet service offers a time for us to grieve and pray together.
December 24, 5:00 p.m.
Christmas Eve—on this holiest of nights, we sing and rejoice with candlelight and carols as we celebrate the good news that Jesus is born!
