In this season after Easter, our worship theme is “The Church Together,” and each week we’ll think about what that means. How does this group of people from all over the city, from all walks and stages of life, come together to be the church?
Judith talked about being witnesses to the good news of Jesus on April 3.
On April 17, Baylee Smith preached; Baylee is preparing for ordination in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)—that’s another way we are the church together: giving new leaders space and opportunity to grow.
Our youth led worship on April 24, and they’ll talk about the ways the church has been important to them as they’ve grown up here.
If you’re an active social media user, we could use your help. Make sure you “like” the First Christian Church Greensboro Facebook page, and share our posts often. Look for a “Share This” prompt in the bulletin each week. Share a quote from the sermon, or something you’re thinking about during worship. Use the hashtag #TheChurchTOGETHER and #loveFCC. Help us get the word out about how awesome our congregation is.
It is good to be the church together.
