First Christian Church established the Legacy Fund as an endowment to enhance the church’s educational, outreach and facility ministries above and beyond the operational budget. The Legacy Fund policy specifies how income from the endowment will be used for ministry. The hope is that congregational members will continue their faithful stewardship by including the church in their estate planning, thereby supporting the ministries of First Christian Church long into the future.
Church families are including First Christian in their estate plans and we invite you to consider doing likewise. Your voice, added to the voices of those who already bear witness to Christian stewardship through planned gifts, will offer encouragement and an example to others. Your future gift will bless generations of ministries to come.
There are many ways you can put a legacy gift in place. Creating a plan for a legacy gift signals to your family, your friends and fellow church members the important role faith and First Christian Church have been in your life.
Make a gift through our secure online donation system (please designate your gift for the Legacy Fund).

As we look to the future of the church, we can’t help but think of those who came before us and laid the foundation for this church family. Their gifts continue to inspire us—and help us realize that their gifts continue to pave the way for the rest of us today.
Even though we will not be around forever to support the church we love, we have found a way to continue our gifts to the church—even after death. Through our estate plans, we are committed to making a gift to the Legacy Fund of First Christian Church of Greensboro that will distribute income for the church’s ministry in perpetuity. This gift will provide an ongoing, annual stream of support for the church’s witness.
