Christian Women’s Fellowship

The Christian Women’s Fellowship (CWF) provides the opportunities for spiritual growth, enrichment, education and creative ministries to enable women to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of the church of Jesus Christ. First Christian has three active fellowship groups: Agape meets the first Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM. Group 3 meets the first Monday of the month at 11:00 AM. Maranatha meets the second Tuesday of the month at 6:15 PM.

For Sale: Pecans and Cookbooks

Fresh crop of pecans are available from any of the CWF Women’s Groups. One pound bags of pecan halves/pieces are just $9.50. Stock up for your holiday baking & cooking. They also make nice gifts. The CWF still has copies of the Bountiful Table Cookbook available for a reduced price of $10 each. Please call the church office if you are interested in purchasing pecans or a cookbook.

The second annual CWF Fall Craft  and Vendor Bazaar is scheduled for Saturday, November 12 from 8am to 3pm.

Bring your family and friends for a day full of shopping for one-of-a-kind items from various vendors.

Enjoy biscuits and coffee for breakfast and hotdogs for lunch.

Mark your calendars. The second annual CWF Fall Craft  and Vendor Bazaar is scheduled for Saturday, November 12.  If you are interested in obtaining a booth for this event or in working on the planning team, please contact the office at 336.273.4725 or email at info@fccgreensboro.org.

We will need lots of volunteers to help with advertising, signs, set-up and clean-up. Plus we need lots of folks for the day. Also, please start planning your baskets for the raffle.  We had lots of fun with the raffle last year.

 

CWF Circle 3 – Sep 12

Christian Women’s Fellowship Circle #3 will have their first fall meeting Monday, September 12th at 11:00am in the parlor. This year we will use a special ecumenical bible study for Just Women Embracing Life. The name of the Bible Study is Confessing the Beatitudes by Margaret Aymer. If you do not attend a women’s group or are interested in this study, we invite you to join us for this study. We meet every first Monday of the month, unless it is a holiday. We share a lunch afterward, so bring a sandwich and our monthly hostesses will have beverages, sides and dessert. We have a great time and would like to include you.

If you would like to join us please let us know so our hostesses will have a head count for lunch.
