First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is in search of a Family Ministries Coordinator to support the ministries of the congregation which pertain primarily to children, youth, and families.

The Outreach Committee continues to compile kits to assist with earthquake relief in Haiti, Chile, and other places around the world. If you would like to help, here is a list of supplies that go into each kit:

• One hand towel measuring approximately 16″ x 28″ (no fingertip or bath towels)
• One washcloth
• One wide-tooth comb
• One nail clipper
• One bar of soap (bath size in wrapper)
• One toothbrush (in original packaging)
• Six standard size Band-Aids®

Supplies can be brought to the church office and labeled “Hygiene kits”.

Our prayers are with the people of Chile and Haiti as they recover from devastating earthquakes. The Week of Compassion, which is the humanitarian aid and disaster relief ministry of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), is responding with support, supplies, and aid.
